The Australian Cornish Mining Sites: Burra and Moonta Consortium encourages community members, businesses, organisations, government and the broader public engagement in the World Heritage Bid through a number of events including information sessions, listening posts, training sessions, festivals and other activities. These provide not only opportunities to be updated on the current status of the bid but also for the sharing of your own passion and enthusiasm by getting involved through an array of events and community programs.

Our local communities also drive heritage events in each of the towns that continue to promote, celebrate and share the rich history of the Cornish mining technology, traditions and culture in Burra and Moonta.
